Berkeley, California — Newomics Inc., a biotechnology company specializing in innovative mass spectrometry solutions for molecular detection, today announced a global co-marketing collaboration with Shimadzu Corporation, a leading provider of analytical and measurement technologies for life science research. The companies will work together to advance integrated mass spectrometry solutions for applications in therapeutic drug discovery, clinical research, environmental analysis, and other areas.
Under the co-marketing agreement, Newomics’s mass spectrometry front-end technologies will be combined with Shimadzu’s Q-TOF and Triple Quadrupole LC-MS systems. The resulting UniESI-MS solutions are designed to deliver high sensitivity, robustness, and reproducibility while enabling high-throughput analysis of small sample volumes across proteins, oligonucleotides, small molecules, and other analytes.
