Capillary electrophoresis–mass spectrometry (CE-MS) is experiencing renewed momentum as native and intact biomolecule analyses demand higher front-end sensitivity, robustness, and reproducibility.
Newomics is pleased to announce a collaboration with Advanced Electrophoresis Solutions (AES) to advance CE-MS through a platform-level integration strategy. By combining AES’s deep expertise in capillary electrophoresis with Newomics’ high-performance ion-source technology, we are developing next-generation CE-MS interfaces designed for modern mass spectrometry systems.
Our joint efforts focus on applications where CE-MS offers distinct advantages — including native MS, intact protein characterization, charge heterogeneity analysis, and metabolomics — areas that require continued innovation to reach true operational maturity.
“By joining forces with AES, we aim to move CE-MS closer to the robustness and usability researchers expect from LC-MS,” said Daojing Wang, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of Newomics.
“I believe the AES–Newomics partnership will establish the industry’s most advanced icIEF-MS platform, delivering state-of-the-art accuracy and speed for protein charge heterogeneity analysis,” said Tiemin Huang, Ph.D., President and CEO of AES.
We welcome conversations with researchers, biopharma innovators, and ecosystem partners interested in shaping the next phase of CE-MS development.
